The Drop Sheet Mural

Painters' drop sheets, at times, can be reminiscent of the works from the abstract expressionist Action painters school from the late 40's & 50's as exemplified by the likes of Jackson Pollock.

The original design is a 100cm square and may easily be enlarged to 4 metre width wall. * As design would be enlarged proportionately, it's important to bear in mind how much may be cropped out in width or height to suit wall dimensions

Pool 3

As the name suggests, the design was inspired by the pool paintings of David Hockney executed in the 1960's.

His treatment of the dappled surface of the pools using simple linear display was beautifully done and gave me the idea

of creating a repeating pattern to echo the look.
